* 20 percent of children consume more than four sodas a day.
The parents realize that they have the responsibility and power to instill healthy eating habits to their children. With only a few changes, family favorites like macaroni and cheese or pizza can be made healthier and just as satisfying. The portion size should be considered as well. If a cereal box says a serving is one cup, then that is what is healthy – too much of a good thing is not to good.
